Designing Oval, a 12,000 sq. ft. fertility clinic, was an opportunity to reimagine healthcare as an experience rooted in warmth, reassurance, and quiet luxury. The client’s vision was clear – create a space that feels comforting rather than clinical, where every interaction fosters ease and emotional well-being. Of the total area, 6,000 sq. ft. was dedicated to core clinical functions, seamlessly integrated into a cohesive and inviting environment.
A soothing palette of warm beige forms the foundation, accented with touches of green inspired by the brand identity. The entrance sets the tone with a striking green door framed by elegant beige panelling and soft wall lighting. Inside, a green fluted marble reception desk stands as a sculptural focal point, paired with intricate threadwork art that adds depth and craftsmanship.
One of the most meaningful features is a bespoke mural portraying a woman as a tree with a child at its roots – a poetic representation of nurture and growth. This artwork anchors the waiting area, where beige sofas and subtle green accents create a calming atmosphere. The design language flows consistently through the pharmacy, corridors, and nurse stations, unified by detailed wall panelling and gentle green highlights.
The clinic houses seven patient lounges, each named after flowers, offering intimate, thoughtfully designed spaces with curved beeding details, warm wooden finish tile flooring, and curated art. Three doctor’s cabins continue the same palette, blending functionality with understated elegance.
A serene mandir at the corridor’s end features delicate nail and thread art of baby Ganesha, symbolising hope and new beginnings. Recovery rooms echo the overall aesthetic with plush finishes, green accents, and personalised artwork.
